LCTR (Link Click Through Rate)

What is LCTR?

LCTR stands for "Link Click-Through Rate." It measures the percentage of users who clicked on a link within an advertisement after viewing it (impressions).  LCTR is a key metric in assessing the effectiveness of ad copy, visuals, and targeting in driving website traffic and conversions.

How to measure LCTR?

LCTR is calculated by dividing the number of link clicks by the total number of ad impressions and multiplying by 100 to get a percentage.

LCTR = (Link Clicks) / (Ad Impressions) * 100

Example: If an ad receives 500 link clicks out of 10,000 impressions, the LCTR would be 5%.

Why is LCTR important to marketers?

LCTR helps marketers evaluate the performance of their ad campaigns in driving user engagement and directing traffic to desired landing pages or websites. A high LCTR indicates effective ad messaging and targeting, while a low LCTR may suggest the need for adjustments to improve click-through rates.
