Click Through Rate (CTR)

Click Through Rate (CTR) measures the percentage of people who clicked on a link, ad, or call-to-action out of the total number who viewed it. It’s a key metric in digital marketing used to gauge how compelling or relevant an ad or piece of content is.

Calculation:

CTR = (Clicks ÷ Impressions) × 100

Example:

A skincare brand runs a TikTok Spark Ad campaign; out of 10,000 views, 300 users click the link in bio to shop the new product line, resulting in a CTR of 3%.
